Living Our LEGACY: Teacher Appreciation Edition – Jean C. Carlos

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 3-7, and Equus wants to celebrate our amazing Job Corps Teachers.

 
Jean Carlos is Working Smart and Doing Good in Garrochales, Puerto Rico. He has taught history at the Arecibo Job Corps Center for a year, where he uses different strategies to engage students. His positive, can-do approach has made a big impact on the academic department. He’s a team player and is always willing to help brainstorm new, exciting activities for students.

Jean always sees the possibilities and looks for more efficient ways to complete a project. One of the ways he has helped the Center is by playing a major role in the introduction of the Arecibo Job Corps App.
