The Missouri TANF Project’s Sedalia and Clinton Offices Host Drive-Thru Career Fair

The Missouri TANF Project’s Sedalia and Clinton Offices recently joined forces to host the first Drive-Thru Job Fair in Warrensburg, MO. The community-centered event promoted career opportunities from 26 employers with over 100 job openings. The event was promoted in five West Central Missouri counties and drew nearly 100 candidates during the three-hour event.

Equus Workforce Solutions Business Services Consultants Michelle O’Donnell and Kelley Willhite utilized a group approach in making this inaugural event a success. Equus staff were joined by teams from the Johnson County Economic Development Corporation (EDC), Missouri Family Support Division, and the Missouri Vets Center.

Joining with the local EDC was an excellent example of collaboration between partners, which led to increased awareness and enhanced participation from the community.
