Debra Giordano Appointed to the National Association of Workforce Boards Board of Directors

Equus is pleased to announce that Debra Giordano, Equus Vice President, Service Delivery, has been appointed to the National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB) Board of Directors by Chairwoman Jennifer Harris. Debra will serve a one-year special appointment along with Jaime Cruz of Nevada, Workforce Connections; Jeff Frederick of North Carolina, Research Triangle Institute; Jon Gustafson of Texas, Lockheed Martin; George Nee of Rhode Island, Rhode Island AFL-CIO/RI; and, Walter Simmons of Maryland, President & CEO, Employ Prince George’s, Inc.

Debra said, “As a former local workforce development board director, and now in my role as a provider and partner in the workforce system, NAWB has always played a vital role in my own development as well as in advocating for and supporting workforce boards and the workforce system in general. I look forward to working with the staff and other members of the board to support NAWB’s members and its mission.”
