Equus Workforce Solutions is a Proud Platinum Sponsor of The Forum 2021 Hosted By the National Association of Workforce Boards!
Don’t miss The Forum 2021 powered by the National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB) from June 24 to 26. Equus is proud to be the platinum sponsor of this prestigious hybrid (in-person/virtual) event.
For over 40 years, NAWB has convened the leading voices in workforce development at The Forum to create discussion, learning and relationship-building opportunities for the largest gathering of workforce employees throughout the country. Workforce development leaders, policymakers, employers, educators and economists come together to discuss the important issues facing their communities.
Join Equus Vice President, Service Delivery Debra Giordano for a Pathways to Excellence presentation on the Future of Work Innovating Through Change on Friday, June 25, from 3:30 to 4:40 p.m. EDT. She will be joined by Jake Hirsch-Allen, North American and Higher Education System Lead, LinkedIn, and Charlie Gill, Relationship Manager, Government and Workforce Development Partnerships, LinkedIn.
LinkedIn Learning and Equus Workforce Solutions joined forces in mid-2020 to provide staff and Equus job seekers across more than 350 locations with a full catalog of online courses designed for learning new skills, workforce training and career development. In this session, representatives will share how they rolled this out in the middle of a pandemic where both staff and job seekers were experiencing dramatic changes. They will share adoption successes and challenges and how Equus leveraged LinkedIn Learning to support staff, businesses and job seekers with adapting to the changing environment.
Additionally, the LinkedIn Learning product was instrumental in supporting the increased demand for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion learning in reaction to the movement for social justice and allowed Equus to quickly create targeted solutions for specific populations such as Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), young adults, remote workers and others with customized learning paths targeting staff, business and job seeker skill gaps and professional development interests. LinkedIn will share data gathered throughout the pandemic on the changing skills landscape. What practitioners leverage this data to help guide economic recovery efforts and evolve our workforce system?
