Step One of Building a Program: Pick the Occupation
Identifying the occupation for which you are seeking to leverage Registered Apprenticeship is a critical step in developing your program. We have established apprenticeships in dozens of occupations in a diverse set of industries and offer training plans vetted by industry leaders.
Step Two of Building a Program: Identify Sponsors & Partners
Identify a sponsor and engage key partners, including apprenticeship offices, sponsors, educators, intermediaries, workforce development boards, and/or American Job Centers using the Partner Finder. A sponsor is any person, association, committee, or organization that operates a Registered Apprenticeship Program.
Step Three of Building a Program: Launching
After identifying the occupation and gathering potential sponsors and/or partners for your upcoming Apprenticeship program, Equus can assist in developing program standards with sustainability. These standards can be prior, existing or newly created. Once processed, your program will be nationally registered with the U.S. Department of Labor.
