Workforce Project Director Stacia Peters and the San Diego team are Working Smart, Doing Good in San Diego, California.

Stacia and the San Diego team planned and executed the 4th Annual Celebration of Champions, an event which recognizes achievements of four program participants and several community partners.

Celebration of Champions was created to showcase the hard work and dedication program participants endure in order to change their lives by working with the San Diego CalWORKS team, according to Debra Giordano, Vice President, Service Delivery.

The event demonstrated all the positive things that can happen with a cohesive, purpose-driven team focused on making a difference in the lives of others. Debra said, “I felt so fortunate to share in the celebration and to witness the impact our business has on the lives of our clients, their families and the community. In essence, the LEGACY we leave. Kudos, Team San Diego!”
