The Way We Lead – Jennifer Salas

Workforce Business Services Consultant Jennifer Salas is Working Smart, Doing Good helping clients as they search for new employment opportunities in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Jennifer collaborated with the Rapid Response Team from eight Workforce Centers to source employers for a recruitment event held at the Sears Retail Replenishment Center. She worked smart in her selection of potential employers, ensuring ones who attended had vacancies that aligned with the skill-set of clients registered for the event, so no one’s time would be wasted.

Acting as a true servant leader, Jennifer was there setting-up on event day to make sure everything was seamless. To make everyone feel welcome, she even arranged to have greeters in the parking lots welcoming employers with a warm smile and offering to help then with their company displays.

“Jennifer’s efforts allowed the 43 job seekers who attended the event to be introduced to 15 different companies with multiple vacancies,” said Jose Vega, Operations Manager.

“Many of these job seekers were able to transition to their next employment opportunity because of Jennifer’s work in putting this event together.”
